Yeah, it is hard to justify a lot of the negativity you see from Falcons fans these days, considering how the franchise has turned around since Dimitroff and Smitty took over. I don't think people realize how dramatic the difference is between a bad franchise (what we used to be) and a good franchise (what we are now). Maybe its just the past let downs, ever rising expectations, or the "what have you done for me lately" attitude that creates its, but I still don't understand it.

We had a few glimmers in the past; Gritz Blitz, late 90s Dirty Birds, and the Vick era, but not sustained excellence like we have seen the past five years. The thing that makes me the happiest (happier than a pig in shit?) is that sustained success is VERY hard to come by in the NFL, but it looks like we will be a very competitive franchise for the foreseeable future. That is assuming that Blank sticks to his guns regarding continuity in the FO, Coaching staff, and locker room.

Those numbers are ridiculous. We are looking at the greatest team the Falcons have ever had.

In 2 years both Ryan and Roddy will be the greatest Falcons at their positions ever.
I would include Turner as well, but I believe we will release him. He helped us get where we are today.
