If you've ever seen the guy on the field, practice or and in a game, you know that this simply isn't true. Like Smith, Ryan is never going to air the laundry out in public. I know people are emotional, but Ryan ripping off his shirt and howling at the moon isn't going to change anything, and simply doesn't serve any purpose other than to make yourself look like an ass. Look at Rex Ryan, or even Jerry Glanville if you want to see how that act works. |

We're not talking about calling players out in some presser... we're talking about getting their heads into the game during a game! |

I'm sure he's angry inside and thoroughly pissed off but he isn't going to let that spill over into the media ever. Just because he doesn't show it to a bunch of guys with a mic in his face doesn't mean he isn't feeling it. Why do fans and people expect celebrities and athletes to live their lives and emotions through the media, because it will make us feel better, or because it's what we want to see? I'd like to see some fire. Some sign that he will force positive change. Look, I know that a few sharp words to the media mean nothing, but after yet another play off loss, I'd like to see and hear some resolve. I don't want to hear resignation and acceptance. |
