Falcons: Draft team needs: Atlanta Falcons

Pretty much nothing new. I disagree about the Snelling assessment. I think that he will be the offensive surprise this season.

LT continues to be a concern because we really do not know what we have. Svitek is capable of walling off the exterior pass rush but he is susceptible to a quick inside move and he is not a factor in the run game. Baker has been held back by injuries. I am surprised that he is allowed to return. It must mean that the FO is confident that he will be back at 100%. I certainly hope so. When healthy, Baker is a decent LT.

The defense is coming around but has some real holes. Personally, I think that we will see a lot of attention given to the defense in this up coming draft. Don't be surprised to see us draft a DT early. While our DE's did not rack up many sacks, the pass rush is weakest from the interior. Babs' injuries set him back and may herald an inevitable decline. It would be a good idea to draft a quick DT that can collapse the pocket and get into QB's faces.
