Dude, your act is getting really old. I know for a fact that other people have noticed and complained about it. and no he didn't.

Great grade by PFF, and one of the only tackles in the league(Duane Brown and Jared Gaither) to not give up a single sack in over 300 snaps. What do you have?

I actually saw him play and didn't rely on something Google told me. Why don't you Google his personal foul, and holding penalties.

I swear this is the first forum I've ever be to when you have to put a supposed Moderator on ignore because he consistently acts like a snotty 12 year old girl. I'm done with you broseph, you have fun going on being snotty and condescending( and frequently wrong) to the rest of the members all you like, but I for one chose not to deal with your childishness any farther.

Google? Try ProFootballFocus. A team of people who have for years now have had a group of people dedicated to watching every player, on every play, for every game, on a normalized grading scale that accounts on numerous factors that is endorsed by individuals in both the front offices and players themselves. Sorry if I take what they have to say over someone who just watched the games.

What I find funny is how a few of you guys are now really bothered by me simply disagreeing with you guys. Someone makes a statement, I disagree and usually explain why, and now all the sudden it's a problem? What's the real issue here?

Moderators are people too. I don't like half the stuff Rad says, but its no different if he was a regular member. He uses stats to back his arguments. Me, I'm not always on the stat wagon. Latest stats show that Turner was great after the initial hit. My eyes remind me that he was typically hit before or at the LOS and had some huge runs against JAX.

RE: Draft Pick Update
PFF isn't run by experts. It's run by everyday guys who watch film and grade the plays. They don't give extra points for huge plays, etc.

It's a tool to use, but it's far from the whole picture. It gets used a decent bit because ANY new stat will get used in football, because there are so few decent metrics.

I look to it occasionally, but it's not a great reference.

They do give extra points for "huge" plays. Have you read about their grading scale?

It's been endorsed by NFL players and FO personnel.

I'm quite familiar with it, yes. We can get into the ins and outs of it, or we can just say it's one stat, created by non experts. I use it, I like it. But it's one measure (well, a couple of measures.) So is completion percentage. So is sack percentage. So is YPA. But we don't use just one to judge a QB.

I like PFF, I just think it's overused a bit for what it is right now.

It's a grade for each individual play summarized, and they provide a large amount of information to provide context. Nothing is perfect, but it is by far and away better than any metric or system available now, and when you have NFL personnel telling them they're on point over 95% of the time, I think that alone shows how much it's worth compared to any other stat.
