Bye. Won't miss ya.

You'll be back

[Image: 2menybt.jpg] Invest in the trenches with high draft picks and we will see both sides of the ball vastly improve.

Why do you guys keep bringing up the apparent lack of talent in JAX? What is your point? That he did a crappy job with crappy talent? Is that supposed to reassure the fanbase? Is that really a selling point in your CV that you had the worst offense with the worst talent in the league?

That's true, but if you had all the routes listed on pieces of paper, threw them on the floor and had a chicken pecking at them to pick the combinations, you'd also have vastly superior route combinations.

Or chimps and a dartboard

Or drunk coaches from a peewee league

Or an old lady from a chinese village after watching her first football game ever

The possibilities are endless.

Strange hire- it may make sense from a football viewpoint, willing to give him a shot, but seems like a bad PR move.

RE: Dirk our New OC
I don't get the Mularkey 2.0 stuff. This dude is the anti-Mularkey.

My concern about him is the knock on his preferred offense (which is basically a Run n' Shoot variant - 4-wide vertical offense) is you can only leave 5-6 in protection. Our o-line is the weak link. How is that going to help us exactly? But I have no doubt he'll be airing it out prolifically. I'm just worried we're going to get our QB killed. This guy isn't Mularkey 2.0. He's Martz 2.0. And with our o-line, that's scary as hell.

Either way, not very encouraging.

i find it somewhat amusing that people are going on the 'lack of talent' in JAX. didn't mularkey come right out and say he didn't have the talent here to run the type of offense he really wanted to? the saying the 'former team' didn't have talent coming from both sides is more than just strange to me.

again, in 6 season at ASU he won 7 more games than he lost.

i sure hope Dale and Papricka Neck are right and the rest of us are wrong. but this season, this playoff loss, this hire, all scream 'my daddies falcons' to me. and i was sooo sure we were beyond that.

Chew on THAT, Petunia!
