The thing I hate the most about this is that the best thing we can offer up about our new OC is excuses as to why his track record is more impressive than it looks.

Even if your cup is brimming with optimism you must admit that this isn't exactly the kind of thing that naturally inspires confidence.

i haven't watched any asu or boise st. games while he was the HC, but the offensive stats from ASU are freaking incredible considering the teams they had to play. and boise st. has always been known as an offensive juggernaut.

your post basically compares matt ryan to david garrard or gabbert. which if you truly believe that well LULZ to you sir.

Go and look at who those ASU teams beat. NO ONE. This guy has no significant wins or accomplishments in College or NFL, besides a few impressive offensive stats IN COLLEGE.

This is not the guy you hire when your problem is that you can't win in the playoffs. Sorry dude, I'd love nothing more to say that I will support the decision, and hope for the best, but this was a ridiculously stupid hire.

I felt the same thing about Chizik when Auburn brought him back. He was 2-19 in 2 years at Iowa State. He's seemed to work out ok. I'll give Koetter the benefit of the doubt.
