Also, him and Abe at times will require additional help. This will allow Weatherspoon or another LB to get in there and disrupt the play.

Now we just need DR in there to see what then unit as a whole can do.

spoooon was inadequate in the stillers game

Inadequate how?

I didn't get to see the game either, so if you're going to make a statement like that, you need to provide some more detail.

"TOUCHDOWN! MY GOD, A TOUCHDOWN! WE THREW IT TO HAYNES! WE JUST STUFFED THEM WITH FIVE SECONDS LEFT! MY GOD ALMIGHTY, DID YOU SEE WHAT HE DID? DAVID GREENE JUST STRAIGHTENED UP AND WE SNUCK THE FULLBACK OVER! … WE JUST STEPPED ON THEIR FACE WITH A HOBNAILED BOOT AND BROKE THEIR NOSE! WE JUST CRUSHED THEIR FACE!" - Larry Munson broadcast UGA vs Tenn, 2001

Rest In Peace, Larry. You will be missed.
GO DAWGS! HUNKER DOWN!

Spoon, and the entire defense bit on 2 play action passes. That was the only way he was inadequate. The dude was tossing off linemen shedding blocks. Looking very good out there and his explosiveness was evident on the field on many plays. Anyone who tells you differently didn't watch the game except for the first couple plays. I watched and rewatched many plays keying in on specific players and Spoon was one of them. He looked good and did a good job for most of the game. The first 2 plays out the gate he got beat, but the entire defense bit up on the run, not just Spoon.

I will wait until the fourth or fifth game to pass judgement on Edwards... no off season and minor surgery... give the guy a chance....

I don't care who's getting the sacks as long as it happens on a more frequent basis than last year I'll be satisfied.
