Did anyone expect the Falcons to actually win today
If you thought the Falcons were going to win today you got the rose color glasses knocked off of your face.

The Falcons were 2-5 this year against winning teams and what does Atlanta play in the Playoff winning teams.

Second Atlanta always gets killed in the playoffs. You know the saying if you are a betting man always bet against the Falcons in the playoffs

I am for one glad they lost atleast now MM will more then likely get canned

No, but I at least expected them to score a freaking touchdown. Folks, wake up. We lose because of coaching. plain and simple. We where not even remotely competitive in this game

I didn't necessarily have any expectations except for the team to play hard.

That being said, the offense hanging a zero on the board was extremely unexpected.

The only positive is Mike Mularkey shouldn't have a job with the Falcons heading into next season. He doesn't know how to use multiple pieces the way a guy like Payton does. We need to find that guy.

did you guys hear the commentator mention how Atlanta runs a very vanilla defense they don't try to hide anything.

RE: Did anyone expect the Falcons to actually win today
I expected the Falcons to play very well on defense if we had a healthy Grimes, we did in the 1st half. I expected us to have some struggle running the ball and in pass protection but I also thought Julio & Roddy would burn them in the passing game, that happened except for Julio & Roddy burning them. That's why I was cheering for the Cowboys so much last week, I thought we could've destroyed them in their dome and was worried about the Giants. I had hope but deep down I knew we were gonna lose given our past history in big games under this regime.

Another positive I see is that a big free agent splash could potentially happen this off-season.

Doesn't matter how many free agents / super stars you have when the OC and DC can't use them correctly.
