Falcons: Defensive Coordinator Options

I agree he was good for us but his behaviour towards the franchise may make it a long while before he makes the ring. I get you on the 3rd and 16 thing. It's not like he is the ony one to give up a 3rd and long in a Falcons jersey.

Appreciate the apology, didn't mean to sound rude but I've been taking grief about Brooking for years now on here and on the official boards. Just sick and tired of it especially since people seem to forget all the really great years and the great things that man did for this team and its fans.

This may be the most interesting proposition in the thread.... Morris is most likely gone after the season. Reviewing his body of work (on Wikipedia of all places), he doesn't really look like a bad hire. He's been shit as a HC, for the most part; but his focus has been defense for the duration of his career. I wouldn't mind entertaining that thought at all.

Why do people keep suggesting Morris? He is terrible. The guy went 10-6 last year and began talking shit like TB was the best team in the NFC South and everyone better watch out for them in 2011. He was a DC before he bacame HC, so he's obviously a defensive minded guy and surely plays a big part in TB's defensive schemes, yet TB's defense just gave up the most yards and points in the entire league and the worst in that team's history.
