I'm a little surprised Svitek was cut. I know he's out for the season but regardless, an extremely serviceable tackle when he is available.

He wasn't cut. He was just placed on IR. He is still a Falcon, just not able to return this season.

Guido is right, Svitek was placed on IR, still a Falcon,

The cut list could have been called the roster move list,
It contained cuts, injury settlements, and Injured Reserve.
