Crowd noise in Detroit - its a problem now
The past few games there have been almost double-digit False Start Penalties for opposing offenses playing there. The crowd noise there is insane. Whoever designed that stadium did it very well, but no-one knew how loud it could be until this season.

I hope we can be prepared for that. I'd hate to lose this game to those penalties.

The Chicago game was more Frank Omiyale/Kellen Davis sucking, I think Boudraeu has our team disciplined enough to not give away the game by jumping early. Keep your emotions in check, and keep the yellow flags off the field.

If I was a Lions fan, I'd be ecstatic too. They've been winning games.

We have played in lots of loud road games and rarely seem to have problems with it.

Not worried about it 1 little bit. Quit crying over everything.

Well what do we do? take them out of the game. Just do what we're best at! Pound the ball down their throats, get an early lead, and control the clock!

Then we turn Ford field into Corn Field where there's nothing but crickets chirping! Wink

I think it's a combination of the noise AND the reputation of the DL. OLs are rightly concerned about getting a good jump and not letting a fast and powerful DL get through them. This makes them "twitchy." Add in a lot of noise and it makes it more difficult.
