Bit easier when you have a minute or two to get the ball off.

Calvin ran a great route. He accelerates, too.

plenty of time + the most dominating player in the NFL = a big play. Take that play away, and Stafford has looked below average so far.

RE: Can't beat the bears deep huh?
Sit down and look at all the really good QBs who are doing well in the passing game. Now tell me how many have to worry about their oline protection and having a crowded pocket. I don't know how many times I see Brady sitting back without anyone around him for 5 yards or so......
Now go look at most games of the Falcons and realize that we should be kissing Ryan's feet for making our sub-par practice squad Oline look decent for all the years he has been here. Ignorance can be educated.....Stupidity is to the bone. |

Great post, i pointed out yesterday Brady had enough time some plays to sit and think about his decisions before he made them. |

RE: Can't beat the bears deep huh?
Jay Cutler has a canon for an arm. He barely gets to use it due to the pressure he sees every week. I know that it is frustrating to see our QB dink and dunk, but he can't do more without the space and time to make throws.
Many of us have been clamoring for more investments along our OL. There is a reason for the adage: The war is won in the trenches. |

The lines will be our focus for the future, I assure you. Ryan is the LEAST of our concerns, and the greatest asset we have (and have ever had).

RE: Can't beat the bears deep huh?
Its been a long year so far. The team is in a funk. Not just at one position but at all of them. This is a better team than what walks on to the field every week. The issues are glaring but all fixable. I just can't understand why they aren't fixed. There is a mental block going on. Smitty is one of the smartest and most forward thinking of all the coaches in the NFL. I know he is working on a solution and probably one that isn't what any of us expect.
