Antone looked like a man among boys tonight. He looked faster than anyone else on the field by far. I have never seen him look quite that good in any game. Probably helped himself quite a bit.

Yes he did, much stronger. It was good to see the progress week to week.

Not that it matters, but I played Madden last night for the first time this year, Edwards had 3 sacks against Chicago in a game we won 14-3. All 3 sacks came in the first quarter. =) Team finished with 6 sacks and 2 picks. I would gladly take that performance from our defense, the only points I gave up were after an interception they returned to the 30.

Smith is exceptionally fast, and honestly I think our OC was the problem for all of our backup RBs last year. Whenever a backup came in, you knew they were touching the ball. They were never brought in as a decoy or anything. They came in, and for Smith it was generally some sort of toss sweep or something stupid. For Johnson it was generally an off tackle run, sucked to watch last year not going to lie.

Problem is there's no room on the 53 for Smith or Johnson. Although they dressed for less than 10 games last year so I think they both qualify for the PS. Although I'd bet only Smith makes the PS and Gartrell is let go.

Great problem to have this year- deciding which good player to cut. Can't recall that problem happening much in the past.

There will be plenty of very good players cut by the Falcons this year.
