RE: Analysis of our draft position alternatives
Guess we will see in 2 weeks but Im fairly confident that we will pick CB early, like first 2 rounds early, and one late as well.

McClain played the nickel position last year and I think the FO sees him as that. We arent looking for a nickel, we are looking for a outside CB.

RE: Analysis of our draft position alternatives
I really have no freaking clue what we are going to do this year. It's literally beyond mind-boggling because there's so many options.

Teams in the 8-20 range are all talking about moving back now, so it might actually be quite cheap to move up. But for whom? If Jarvis Jones falls to 11, do we move up for him? Dee Millner has to be gone in the top 7. He's easily the most bona-fide #1 at any position in this draft. It would be insane if he falls past 7 IMO and I certainly don't see us pulling that kind of move off for a CB.

I don't really see who in that 8-20 range we would jump up for except maybe Jarvis, maybe Floyd. But I still have a feeling they get taken in the top 5. Maybe Jonathan Cooper or Chance Warmack? Maybe Eric Fisher or Lane Johnson? DJ Fluker? Are these guys worth moving up if they fall past the 8 spot? I'm just not sure. There's no guarantees there. Floyd and Jarvis are about the only guys I would personally be happy about moving up for, but that's about it.

We could move back too. The talent at the positions we need is deep as hell this year through the back of round 3. Unless we decide to go with Eifert in the 1st. Maybe we get him at 30, maybe we have to move up a few spots. I don't know.

We could go CB, DE, DT, TE, or OL. I think CB is our biggest priority, but again talent is deep in 2nd and 3rd for CB's more than anything.

I mean this is crazy this year. I have absolutely no idea what we do and I'm usually half decent at this.

My gut tells me we're taking Eifert and then CB, DE, CB, but who freaking knows.

Sharrif Floyd is an interesting fit, depending on whether or not the off-season hype really pushes him that far up. Of course, he strikes me more as a BVG player than a Nolan one. Star Lotulelei seems like our "perfect fit," but I'd be shocked to see him get anywhere close to us.
