When it counted, Ryan outplayed Wilson and it wasn't even close.

Do you think if you gave Ryan the ball with 8 seconds left on our own 46 we'd have thrown 1 very short completion and a failed hail mary to end the game? No. We'd have connected on a deep out or a shot across the middle and lined up for the game winner. Which is what we did anyway using about 18 seconds and needing about 11 more yards than they did.

In fact, Ryan threw the 2nd pass to Gonzo from the 50 yard line with 0:19 left, and only took 6 seconds off the clock to do it. That's 2 to line up the game winner. And Seattle had 2 timeouts left, so it's not like their options were limited.
