I don't spend much time thinking about the cap, but why are we not gaining cap space with Gonzalez and McClure off the books?

I don't feel confident that we will be signing Grimes. I get the feeling that he will get paid handsomely by some other team.....perhaps Tampa Bay.

What sort of savings would we gain with the dismissal of P. Jerry?

It would be great to be able to sing a FA NT, to take the pressure off of this draft. The priority should be to re-sign: Ryan, Baker and Moore. However, signing a NT like Hill (Detroit) would give the defense a necessary upgrade.
