If you don't consider the Saints or Ravens game last year big games, then there's no point in trying to convince you otherwise. If you don't see anything big about playing a top division rival in their house after they've won a Superbowl for division lead, or a Thursday night football game on national television against a perennial play-off contender, then it's not even worth arguing with you.

As critical as I can be about this team and the leadership, they've far surpassed what any of us thought would be capable after 2007. We've won a lot of big games even though I'm with you about the playoffs. We don't have a big time QB so I don't know if we'll ever win those truly big games you speak of.

Regardless of circumstances surrounding those games, they were BIG wins. We've won big games but we have won THE big games is what buddy is trying to say.

He tried to say this loss was an example of how we never win "THE" big games. Honestly, this game barely means anything compared to the Saints game meant last year.

i reckon playing the champs in week 3 is big enough, but the game being on MNF doesnt make it big to me.

but when you play a team that is a champ and a top tier team like the colts or pats or steelers, (not ravens or jets) or the playoffs- what do you get from ryan and our team. choking on balls. thats what we do
