Falcons: 680 the fan

I will always be a fan but if MM is retained I will have lost complete faith in the organization from top to bottom. It would be demoralizing and my expectations would be adjusted accordingly.

If MM comes back, I will literally not watch the Falcons next year. As much as it fucking pains me to say something like that, it would lead me to believe that they do not want to move forward with this team. And what's the point in watching a team that doesn't want to move forward?

Also, today on 680 they had Finneran on and he said
1. He didn't think they should bring Abe back
2. They should definitely let Turner play out his contract
3. He thinks Matt Ryan needs to step up and he is not sure if it's the OC or Ryan not wanting to take more chances. He said he thought he saw some times where Roddy and Julio had one on one and Ryan should have thrown it up to them more. He did say it was hard to tell because he was only seeing it on tv. He seemed to be leaning towards it being more on Ryan, but he didn't make it completely clear. He also seemed to think that Mularkey would stay if he doesn't get a head coaching job.

Is there a place where I could here this interview? I heard part of it and I don't remember it being exactly like what you have said. I could be wrong--I just would like to hear it again.

They don't have it posted. Which part did you hear differently? I would like to hear it again too just to be sure, but it did come across to me that he wasn't looking at Mularkey first in the situation. He wasn't dogging Ryan either by the way. Not sure if my post came across like that.

If that is actually true than that is complete bullshit.

Why would you tell your coordinators to look for jobs right before they started the playoffs? No wonder the team tanked in the playoffs. The coordinators chose not to prepare. God its like the old front office if that is true. What a joke.

It would be a very kind thing to do on a personal level but it would be an incredibly stupid football and business decision.
