im going to wait till after the saints game to start talking about superbowls. i will say i think our best can beat the niners and packers int he playoffs.

I would much rather play the 49ers than the Packers or the Saints. Alex Smith is improved, but he is now here close to Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees.

The 49ers are basically doing the same thing the Falcons did last year to have a good season. Smart, turnover free, penalty free, field position football. The Falcons can play that same game, but with much more talented players. Ryan is better than Smith. Turner and Gore are about the same. The Falcons receiving corp absolutely destroys the 49ers. Our corners can cover their receivers one on one without much problem if Grimes is healthy. The 49ers have a handful of really talented players in Vernon Davis, Patrick Willis, and Justin Smith. In 75% of the man to man matchups the Falcons have the advantage including QB.

Their stats benefit from playing in the NFC West. Their defense only gives up 17 less yards per game than the Falcons.

They are a really good team. They matchup well against a lot of teams which is why they have their record. They do not matchup well against the Falcons IMO. It doesn't mean they can't beat the Falcons, I just think the Falcons would win 75% of the time if they played each other. Any given Sunday.
