Personally, I have a feeling that there are a good number of front offices who would rather not disclose their belief that Murray is easily the second best RB in the draft.

I remember the Sam Baker thing... He said we talked to him at the senior bowl, combine, and a visit.. Now the Peria Jerry one caught me off guard... We didnt hear about it because i remember Peria saying that he talked to the falcons a week before the draft or the week of the draft.... It wasnt reported because i dont think it was a "official visit" ... idk... Then i also thought it was no one dude makes it out of the top 20... He was a beast in college and in the senior bowl. I dont think TD even thought he would make it to us..

I agree tho cooperbh... Some guys we dont meet with a million times... Miere said he only talked to one of our scouts at his proday (no visits) ... Plus every visit does not hit the press

I will say this about TD tho... It seem like he doesnt care... He shows the most attention to the guys he really like.,.. He doesnt care who knows it

RE: Falcons 2011 interviews/visits/workouts
Thanks, looks like I was close but missing 3 or 4 people from what the AJC compiled. I'll add everyone to the first page.

Good find. A lot of people have been waiting to hear that. I was definitely hoping TD talked to him. Of course TD might be one of the GM's he lied to at the combine, but hopefully they actually worked him out.

No freaking way Murray makes it to the late 3rd round. Kiper is nuts.

I think its very possible... Most see Murray as a 3rd down specialty back since he has had injurys in college (dont think he can handled #1 type carries) ... I see him making it to the 3rd round.... I can see him making it to our pick.

We shall see tho.... I think he is a poor man Darren McFadden.

Dude has serious speed, and runs with a reckless attitude. He's the perfect complimentary back, and isn't as thin/lanky as Norwood.
