When you are up by 20, the other team has hope they can win with 3 TD. It showed in their play. When you are up by 21, that makes it that much harder for the opponent to see victory. It shows we are playing to win, sets the tone, and keeps the players focused on the goal.

And in this case, it would have cost us "nothing"!
