I think it was FFS1970 interpreting what she was saying, when he started saying Sportsfreak called him dumb...even though I think she did say some of the players joked with him about being dumb, or something like that. Regardless, hopefully Franks has a season akin to Moore's after being called lazy, that would be a great addition to depth.

That's good to hear about HD. If he is truly back to his '08 form, he should be a terror in the slot, what with Roddy, Julio, Gonzo, et al commanding the lion's share of attention. And just in case HD needed any extra motivation to perform this season, his agent only need point out that he is in a contract year playing in a suddenly deep WR corp.

I think I feel a third-year breakout coming on.

If we need any RIDICULOUS sideline catches... Jenkins truly has a gift at that.

I'm partially convinced that Franks mailed it in last year because of what happened in the draft (dropping from 2nd round to 5th). If Franks was lazy, why would he have even bothered to show up at the optional camp?

I also remember someone (don't know who) claiming that Moore was mailing it in during 09 because he had 'lost the love' for the game. Didn't see much of that last year.

SF tends to come in here with inside info and then phrase it so it stirs up controversy on purpose.

Like Roddy not being at camp exile the first few weeks. And clearly Moore IS a baller, contrary to her statements suggesting otherwise. And Franks certainly hasn't done a thing to appear lazy. He made the team as a rookie and even got an interception with extremely little playtime and now he's been there everyday at camp exile.

I appreciate the occasional inside info, but I don't pay attention to her opinion or drama-seeking context anymore.

well said, i concur, plus 1. don't get me wrong, i enjoy some 'inside info' from time to time, and it's been right a lot of times. BUT..... realizing the 'gossip factor' plays in, tends to make me take it with a grain of salt, if you know what i mean

I'm wondering if Palmer is going to be our Tony Moeaki (KC) when Gonzo is gone...Oh boy that'd be freaking awesome. haha but thats a dream, although I do have some high expectations out of him.

I'm glad to see Matty take jones in so quickly. I'm guessing he wants a ring when the CBA gets finished ^_^
