That place is a real shithole, but I am kind of glad that it turned out that way. If it hadn't gotten as bad as it did, I would have never found this place again. When I posted the thread asking for alternative message boards it was deleted within 6 hours, but that was enough for me. Glad we have good mods over here at least.

I was just thinking about something Grits said on page 7. You would think that being the "official" message board of the Atlanta Falcons, any PR representatives of the Falcons, including the people running the site and things would want to make sure that all fans have a positive experience on the forums. They shouldn't be worrying about hits on the forums. That tells me there is something very, very broken going on over there. Something seriously needs to be addressed if that's the case. People shouldn't be wanting to stay away from the Falcons internet community because of bad experiences on their forums.

Chris, they have at least 3 mods on AFMB that have never even registered a single post on any portion of the forums. 1 guy who hasn't been active on the forums since '09, and a few that haven't been on there in at least 6-7 months. The lack of interest from the mods says alot about that place. It's a disgrace. here's a list of the moderators there:

IP banning when most users are on DHCP is pretty stupid, and useless.

Thanks to free proxy's, it isn't like they can keep you off anyways.

Went there a few times to look for some old posts that had been made, but I don't bother going otherwise.

Dynamic IPs. Basically, your IP changes all the time. Basically like filing a restraining order on someone who can change their identity at will.

That's one of the reasons that piece of shit ad block is still on the right hand side.

My thing is they seem to be able to ban long time posters and even ip ban them at the blink of an eye if someone complains about trolls, but the trolls themselves get to do what ever they want.

They seems to have two set of rules, real long time fans get banned at the blink of an eye but trolls get free reign.
