Why don't we just give them hip flags and be done with it!
With great reward comes great risk... a chance you take playing in the NFL. The hit was fair. I'm sorry he got hurt and wish him a speedy recovery, but when try to catch a pass over the middle chances are you are going to take a violent hit. Dunta's hit was DEFINITELY not helmet to helmet, it was a just a hard hit. With that being said...that hit will cost us more than it was worth. Dunta likely will miss the next 4 weeks with a concussion AND a knee injury suffered from that play. Owens gets the start on the outside and Williams will play nickel. Also...Decoud could be losing his spot soon to Coleman due to his play recently. He got his "final warning" speech today. The coaches and FO are NOT happy with him at all right now.

Do you think it will be best if he gets made to sit for a while, and re earn his spot, he really has just seemed to be coasting as of late it's like he is in a daze the whole time. It's bad when the FO isn't happy with you. I mean coaches to me that means your spot in the line up is at risk, your playing time. FO to me sounds more like his spot in the organisation is at risk. Although I can't see him being turfed out so fast, he had a gd few steps forwards last year, he needs to get back to that |
