RE: Dunta Robinson
Some people watch the game and come away with something entirely different than what actually happened.
Dunta had a really good game in comparison to last week and I expect him to get better and better every week as he works himself back into shape. Owens had a good game as well until he did that dumb a$$ tackle that almost made him sh*t out his spine! He has got to make better decisions and think of his health! Grimes played as awesome game IMO. He did what was needed, shut down Breaston, batted down a 3rd down pass to Fitz and made his side of the field look impossible to deal with. Say what you want but that TD run was NOT his fault. He was on the RIGHT SIDE, not the left as usual and maybe he took a bad angle, maybe he should have kept running instead of taking a diving approach but it was NOT his fault a running back was 20yards down the field when he got to him. Blame Lofton, Spoon, WillMo or Decoud first, then blame Grimes for not growning wings! ![]() Its funny how we can beat the sleeves off a team and people are still so negative towards certain players. You clearly have issues with that player and u need to get over it if u came on the boards to criticize any of them. I had the pleasure of hearing who got cussed out today at the meetings for screwing up things that dont show up on the stat sheet but I instead choose to focus on the big picture and that is....we won! Now lets be positive and send good vibes to our guys as they prepare for the Saints. |

RE: Dunta Robinson
Sportsfreak, do you have any updates on the severity of Owens's injury?
Invest in the trenches with high draft picks and we will see both sides of the ball vastly improve.

(09-20-2010 01:43 PM)Peyton Wrote: The play was on the side that would normally have been Grimes side, but Grimes was line up at the line of scrimmage on the other side of the field in the defense the Falcons were in for that particular play. On That play it appeared Moore was in the box and got blocked out, allowing the runner to cut back in. The truth is our entire linebacking core was also blocked out of the play including Lofton and Spoon. If I blame anyone it would be the defensive line, they where unable to eat up more than one blocker and this allowed the offensive line to attack the rest of our smaller front seven. |
