Nothing more to say the way he plays the ball/ the missed tackles / the effort lack luster he seems more concerned with being sound on defense and being in position but never makes a fucking play .. I would take a guy like Grimes any day over him that plays with heart and has the balls to make a play on ball ...Dunta had 2 knock downs in the game but he was suppose to be a answer now he has become a problem ...

Lets see what Brian Williams /Owens someone else can do I seen enough

I don't think Dunta had that bad of a game because teams are still not targeting him that much. The only big mistake he made in my opinion was the miss tackle, which was pretty huge because that could have cost us the game. Any corner could have gave up that TD pass. In the next few weeks I really think we're going to see what Dunta is made of because teams are going to shy away from testing Grimes as much. In fact I still can't believe that teams are still testing Grimes as much as they are. Grimes has been a drive killer for opposing offenses this season.

We saw what Owens could do over there and he was certainly NOT the answer. Both Ocho moutho and TO used him like a cheap hooker all day long. Dunta may not be the best corner in the league, or even on the team, but he is the best option the Falcons have. I honestly don't feel that the Pass D problem is on him. Almost all the long receptions I see the team give up are linebacker, safety coverage assignments.

I tend to agree. Scheme is also a factor, I believe.

I don't think he's a bad corner but I do think we overpaid him. To his defense though he's never in his life played in an off-man coverage scheme.

His play on the skinny post pass in the end zone was a thing of beauty.

He's not a shut down corner and we did overpay to get him, but he was probably the best FA option we had at the time.

Just seems to me to be a weird time to initiate this thread. Maybe it's just me.
