Dmitrioff needs to take a Huge HUGE HIT

RE: Dmitrioff needs to take a Huge HUGE HIT
correct me if i am wrong but were we not also 35 million under the cap last year. I am not really sure how to respond after watching the game. I am mad at just about everybody in the organization right now.. that was truely an embaressing game....
the stands were almost completly empty with five minutes left so im mad at the fans. I stayed at the bar and took my lumps
It seems like only Finn and Weems actually showed up to play the game, everyone else just looked so bad.
I am mad that TD did not go after julius peppers in free agency last year.
I am Mad that we passed on a true play maker like dez bryant (i love spoon but he will never have the impact on the field like dez)
How many sacks have our guys missed on aaron rodgers and drew brees combined in those games, has to be close to 10 at least.
Our offense has nowhere near the firepower to keep up with the likes of greenbay, new orleans and new england.
Our defense is super young, for the most part, but our scheme is bad. bvg will not get fired, but needs to seriously overhaul his idea of what he is trying to do with the talent.

Rise Up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol at people going to a free bar judging people who spent their hard earned money to watch, at the very least, a competitive performance by the Falcons. taking lumps at a bar is completely different from going home hundreds of dollars cheaper with a long ride home to let the loss settle in....some people need to get the fuck off their high horse man.

All of them led to the team getting to 13-3.

Today the Falcons were out coached out schemed and so on. The team turned the ball over and had lots of bad penalties things that did not happen during the season. This was a mental meltdown. Something that a team that is so well coached and prepared does not do. The Falcons of old are back.

I don't agree. The schemes were appropriate for our personnel. I like TD and I think that he needs more time to get the personnel right. We were 13-3 ! Think about how far this team has come in three years.

The D's weakness is covering the pass. The Packers' strong point is the passing game. BTW the same holds true for the Saints and Eagles. Our D could not get off the field. By the time the third quarter rolled around, they were gassed.

In this pass-happy league, you have to have three good CB's. We have two. By lucky coincidence, there happens to be a very good CB on the free agency market this off season.

2010 1 1 19 19 Sean Weatherspoon LB Missouri Starter, but injured in NO game, never the same
2 3 19 83 Corey Peters DT Kentucky Force in the middle
3 3 34 98 Mike Johnson G Alabama Backup
4 4 19 117 Joseph Hawley G UNLV Backup
5 5 4 135 Dominique Franks DB Oklahoma Backup
6 5 34 165 Kerry Meier WR Kansas IR in the Preseason
7 6 2 171 Shann Schillinger DB Montana Special Teams Playmaker, but landed on IR at the end of the year

2009 1 1 24 24 Peria Jerry DT Mississippi IR with a knee injury that typically takes 2 years to recover from
2 2 23 55 William Moore DB Missouri IR Rookie season, becoming a ball hawk on special teams
3 3 26 90 Christopher Owens DB San Jose State Aaron Rodgers Bitch
4 4 25 125 Lawrence Sidbury Jr. DE Richmond Backup
5 5 2 138 William Middleton DB Furman Practice Squad player until signed by Jacksonville
6 5 20 156 Garrett Reynolds T North Carolina Backup
7 6 3 176 Spencer Adkins LB Miami (FL) Backup
8 7 1 210 Vance Walker DT Georgia Tech Rotational player, pushing Jerry, Peters, and Babs for a starting spot

2008 1 1 3 3 Matt Ryan QB Boston College Pro-Bowler, has led team to 3 straight winning seasons
2 1 21 21 Sam Baker T USC Starting LT, has shown glimpses of being good but most likely not a good fit for LT in the NFL
3 2 6 37 Curtis Lofton LB Oklahoma QB of the defense, when he was dinged up late in the season the run d went downhill
4 3 5 68 Chevis Jackson DB Louisiana State Currently on Denver roster, 4th team in 3 years
5 3 21 84 Harry Douglas WR Louisville Promising rookie season, tore ACL and missed second year, an injury that takes 2 seasons to recover from
6 3 35 98 Thomas DeCoud DB California Starting Safety
7 5 3 138 Robert James LB Arizona State Practice squad player
8 5 19 154 Kroy Biermann LB Montana Started at DE this season, probably needs to add some size to become a true force
9 6 6 172 Thomas Brown RB Georgia Finished 2010 on Cleveland active roster
10 7 5 212 Wilrey Fontenot DB Arizona Currently out of football

So 8 starters and a handful of rotational players in 3 years is your latest issue? Nice, and that's only from the draft.

You may claim to have been a fan for the last 45 years, but you're not. You're a someone that wants the Falcons to fail so you have something to bitch about.

What is your definition of a playmaker? In my mind, TD has drafted Matt Ryan, Curtis Lofton, Harry Douglas, Kroy Beirmann, William Moore, Sean Weatherspoon, Corey Peters and Shann Schillinger. All have shown that they can be playmakers, but that's not what you're looking for, you're looking for the Desean Jackson's of the world, which wouldn't work in our offense. You're looking for the Darrell Revis' player, who plays press coverage. We don't. TD is drafting the best players for the scheme, if you actually looked at what he's done and not looked for shit to bitch about, you'd understand that.

A play maker is someone who other teams have to game plan around . A game changer . TD has not drafted one in 3 years .. He did draft our franchise QB , our franchise MLB both solid players in position might never reach the top of there respective position but still contribute

Play makers around league

Julius Peppers
DeShaun Jackson
Calvin Johnson
Troy P
Darrelle Revis
Chris Johnson
AP
Peyton Manning
Rodgers
Vick
Suh
Patrick Willis
Andre Johnson
Fitz
Nnamdi
Ed Reed
Ray Lewis

etc ...Now its only been 3 years and chance a player drafted by TD can turn into a play maker but not at this point. Also you can tell right away usually within first couple of years if you got that special kind of game changer play maker. People will try to rebuff that saying well look at Roddy White everyone considered him a bust and has turned out to be a stud wr ..true ..I never considered him a bust I just thought it was inconsistent QB play and shotty scheme . He has grown into himself and has benefited from having a QB that stands in pocket and gets him ball

TD needs to have a A+ draft this draft and add some play making infusion where we have that shinning star . Right now we have consistent players that all play well and outside Roddy /ABE/Babs all brought on from McKay era TD needs to find those play makers instead of depth and just starters ....

RE: Dmitrioff needs to take a Huge HUGE HIT
Ive never seen ppl cry so much and they have a team that is competing for a SB .... Do we have problem we need to fix... ofcourse... That mean we will only get better....

Swift name playmakers... 95% of the players he named was drafted before TD was even our GM... So yea.. He couldnt draft those playmakers.

I understand being pissed about out loss vs the Packers.... But that doesnt take away from us being a great team and organization that will only get better... TD has did a good job drafting and signing good FA... Our draft picks will only get better.... They say it takes a rebuilding team 3 or 4 years to get back to becoming a relevant team... We have been relevant since day 1 in TD's tender.

Not to jump on Rich McKay and JA98.. But they say if you miss on a top 10 pick... It sets your team back some years... Right now that impact LDE we missed on is our biggest need... They was right
