OK, so the Ryan timeline now goes:

You wanted to draft Ryan with the #3 pick.

Then, he wasn't worth the #3 pick.

Then, after we drafted him with the #3 pick, you were glad.

A year later, you were questioning the decision to draft him.

A year after that, he was a game manager incapable of leading a team to victory, according to you.

A few games later during the same season, he had suddenly "taken the next step" and was capable of leading a team to victory.

A few games later - still during that same season - he was back to being a game manager.

Now he's not capable of leading a team to a playoff win.

I was 100% behind drafting Matt Ryan there was a player I kind of liked more he turned out to be a dud in year 3 Ryan has shown to be a pro bowl player even though undeserved due to a better QB in Rodgers playing in Super Bowl and have eliminated and embarrassed Ryan and Falcons in Ryan home field
Flip flop with the decision to draft him or not. Was very glad to have drafted, Baker and the likes of Curtis Lofton ..I saw TD has started to build the foundation of this franchise of years to come.

09' season started to see some of the flaws in Ryan game ..from his arm /to some of his mechanics and to some of the decisions he was making. Soph slump even though Ryan was productive I feel his game took a step back in process


10' season ..Ryan played pretty solid through the season .. but I still didnt think he has taken his game to the next level by opening up down field . He was playing consistent mistake free football a QB needs to play . I felt we were controlling teams with our run offense and Ryan was making plays while he was playing teams with 8 men in the box who concentrated on our run game. I also felt Ryan was not capable of helping us win a game on his back I was proved wrong that Ravens game when he carried the team and played his best game probably of his career. ......I said there it is there is the moment he finally took the reigns he took next step in process he was on his way to being ELITE

10' PLAYOFF GAME.........Ryan was awful..He made a late throw on a td pass. He made one of the dumbest decisions a QB can ever make by throwing ball cross body and had it go for 6 . He basically help put the game away for the Packers. Our defense wasnt stopping the great Aaron Rodgers anyway but our QB where after rookie year we all thought we had the 2nd coming as more ??????????? marks then answers..His 2 playoff games have been duds. Other Qbs around the league like Sanchez and Flacco have help lead there teams to playoff wins..so then you have to question did Ryan really take the next step or was that 1 game vs RAVENS a mirage



Here we are today a QB like Vick who won regular season games but unlike Vick who actually help Falcons win playoff games Ryan has not... I criticized Vick for his flaws, I will continue to criticize Ryan

I do think if Chad Henne was here his record would look close to Ryan with a solid coach in Smith and a offensive system that fits his strength more then really does Ryan

A huge stretch? The guy is being benched non-stop with a pretty good TE, a top tier WR, and two damn good RBs who can catch the ball as well, behind an offensive line better than our's. He's shown no improvement in three years, every year he throws more TDs, and then throws even more INTs. A 10 points QB rating difference is pretty damn big. Ryan has a career passer rating of 85, Brady has a career rating of 95. Same thing HURR DURR.

Ryan has had a great RB with no receiving or outside speed capabilities that has been slowing down, one good year out of a TE, and a great WR, behind a mediocre offensive line that is masked by our scheme.

Go take your meds and wank off to some Aaron Rodgers pictures. You're off in your own little world. Why don't you do what you did last time and bring up Eli Manning, again, so I can make you look stupid, again.

I would never ever promote or condone violence, I'm simply making a legitimate abservation here... but I'd bet that if Swift were in a room full of fans from this forum community & continued to act in real life like he does here, he'd have a tough time exiting in one piece.
