We all know that the Falcons and Saints are tied at the hip these days. Neither is just "another" team in the league.

Oh, I know exactly what this means. The Saints have a pick of the best 3-4 DC candidates out there. Whom ever it may be.

I think you may be surprised, but I think many so called experts will have the Saints pegged as the favorites in the NFC South next season and for good reason.

Surprised? They are the favs every season. Watch the Falcons be 3rd in the South rankings before the season.

That reason is that most "experts" don't know what the hell they are talking about. But feel free to hang your hat on "experts" picking you, instead of concentrating on that history-making atrocious defense you have, which will now be older and having to handle a change of coach/scheme. Also, keep reminding yourself of how amazing Loomis is with the cap, while you continue to lose players you can't afford to sign, and Brees' contract handicaps you more and more.

For someone who talks trash about the Falcons so much, you were quick to proclaim Lofton, a player we did not try to sign for his obvious flaws, as the defensive savior of your team. You also sang Spags' praises. That earned you the worst defense in history. What declarations will you make for this year that we can continue to laugh about behind your back? This "experts" one is a good start, but I know you are capable of much greater delusions.

You thought... actually no you shouted until you were blue in the face, thread after thread arguing how losing Payton wouldn't mean anything because Carmichael and he were so in sinc that there would be absolutely no issues at all.

You thought Spags was not just good, but great. I wish I had a dollar for every time you proclaimed your defense would be way better this year than the prior year and probably top 5.

You thought bountygate would blow over in a couple weeks.

And honestly I could go on and on with things you "thought" would turn out one way and ultimately ended up damn near the complete opposite.
