This whole situation has showed me just how classy, and business like the Falcons are. Pittsburgh and NE are supposed to be the media darlings of the NFL, yet their players (Harrison and Meriweather) have made comments about the hits that appear to be retarded. D-Rob has said nothing that could be construed as retarded like the other guys did. It just goes to show that the Falcons do a good job of PR control.

Now, it's time for the FO to step up, and defend R-Rob's hit because it was a legal hit.

Nascar took out what made Nascar so special a few years ago, and not look at them. TV ratings for Nascar is down 27% from last year. They've had to cancel races because they aren't selling seats and advertising. If the NFL keeps interfering with the game, then the same will happen to the NFL.

Wow! What about the hit Harry took earlier this year - almost identical hit except he was launched at? Resulted in nothing but a penalty. What about the freakin' slam of Titans QB by the Steelers D?

This is typical NFL - ridiculous!

Saints players were never suspended over the banned substance abuse either - it's just insane - there is no consistency in the way they dole out punishment.

It was a clean hit, but everyone here knows that same hit on a guy on your team would have you calling for his head. That's the nature of the game.
