Converting over from TATF board

I want to say that I am a dedicated fan of the Falcons. I am not going to claim to have been a fan since before I was alive, although I would love too! Truth is I been a fan since the NFC championship when the Falcons last second win killed the Vikings dreams.

I am not gonna start out by proclaiming my unwavering support of these forums, and that the members who created it are saviors. I will however state how I feel about the situation. I may be banned, made unwelcome, flamed, or ridiculed.

During my stay at TATF I have seen the ups and downs, the drama, the epic failure of intelligent conversation. The trolls are running rampant, and a total lack of regard to respect the veteran members. Of course a lot of other nonsense that goes on. I have been a member of TATF for a long time. I am not claiming 1st member status, and I don't want my post rating taking into account. I don't post much, I prefer to read the forums, and not engage in flame wars. I have posted what I felt a few times, and maybe I offended a few people, but I felt justified with what I did. Well there was this one time I was Costa Rica, jacked up on Captain Crunch, when I have no recollection of what was said. Apparently I referred to Al Gore as an alter boy in dire need of punishment. Again I don't recall those times, but I have seen evidence to the contrary.

If anyone would like to investigate my profile on TATF, user name is Drozhenbane. I may have offended some with my posts, but unfortunately my sarcastic style is not always best received in digital form. For the people I may have offended had they known me in real life. They would understand that I mean no harm, and am a laid back guy who is funny in person, but often misunderstood online.

With that being said I would like to state my introduction....
I am not going to be the self proclaimed Falcon fan of ut-most power. I am however a dedicated fan, who loves his team, and good old fashioned debate. I am not offended easily, and to justify that I will bring up 2 Girls 1 Cup only briefly mind you! I wasn't offended, but had a hay day rick rollin people to that video! Jokes aside, it comes down to my dedication of being a fan. Since I have rebuilt my PC in July 2010, I have checked my Firefox cookies settings, and It even shocked me! I have visited TATF 4996 times.......

While part of me is sad to separate from something so integral to my day. I feel it is needed, and I wouldn't BS anyone to assume I wont miss it. I am not assuming that I would get a warm welcome here, but I am stating that I am done with TATF. If I inadvertently have burned a bridge here, and not welcome then that is how it is. Its your site, and you have a right to run it as you see fit. The only thing that I ask, is if I offended anyone, please give me the benefit of the doubt and let me explain.

In the end....
I am done with the trolls, I am sick and tired of drama queens, the inattentive mods, the total disregard to the fan base, the attacks on senior members, the banner ads, and fair weather fans.

Most of all, the firing of Supes, how the mods handled it, and the removal of the Stick award. Was more than a dark day for the fans, It as the straw that broke this camels back.

In the rear view mirror I should have seen the warning signs, and followed suit here after so many respected members migrated(LOL). Whether or not I am welcome is for you to debate. Either way I changed my avatar on TATF to support Supes, and I wont log back in. If I am not welcome here, then I guess I am done with message boards, and will resume my previous hobby of Under Water Basket Weaving. As the Franchise from my stand point has lost touch, much like the 94 strike in MLB, that ended my following of that sport for life.
