RE: Les Miles Press Conference
Speaking of college, K-State and Oregon lost last night.

ND will be #1 with Bama and UGA #2 and #3. Both of which play each other in the SEC championship in a couple weeks. The winner will be in the National Championship likely vs ND.

ND has played a weak as hell schedule and might just be very overrated. In other words, if UGA somehow beats Bama, they have a damn good shot at winning a NC!

Gotta make it by GA Tech next week first, but UGA is playing really well right now. And Bama has shown vulnerabilities.

UGA is in control of their destiny. So they have a real shot.

How has ND had a weak schedule?
They've played 4 ranked teams might be 5 depending on where USC ends up next week. That includes clobbering OK at Norman.
Georgia has played 2 ranked teams and got their ass handed to them by S. Carolina. Let us not forget those big games against Buffalo, Florida Atlantic and the very scary Georgia Southern.
I don't know how Hostess is going out of business considering all the Cupcakes the SEC brings in each year.

First of all, where opponents are ranked at the end of the season along with their records is a much more accurate way of judging strength of schedule than doing it from pre-season and mid-season rankings.

Second of all, Georgia is ranked 30th in the country in strength of schedule and ND is ranked 42nd in the country in strength of schedule. And at the end of the season, they will have both played 3 teams who were ranked at the END of the season, but UGA will have played 3 tougher ranked teams by far.

I like to break this type of stuff down just to see for myself anyways, but here goes some interesting stats. They're pretty close to even on most things, except UGA has the harder strength of schedule according to all the rating sites.

Here's who ND has played:
