No. Because the triple-option wouldn't come close to working in the NFL and the ONLY reason it works in college is because only 3 out of 160 teams run it and it's hard as fuck to gameplan for in one week. Especially when you're pretty much a glorified highschool FCS team facing a national D1 FBS team.

It's a gimmic and unrealistic. If they tried to run this in the NFL, their QB and 5'9 170 lb H-back would be carted off on stretchers by the middle of the first quarter.

If Paul Johnson were doing this as a coach in the SEC, he'd never have a winning season and he'd be playing his walkon 5th string QB by week 8.

I enjoy watching football where one mistake can make the difference of a win or loss. Over 90% of college games cannot offer that.

Kansas won the Orange Bowl 3 years ago, and beat GT just last year with the same players they have now.

I mean, they aren't Oklahoma...but they aren't Coastal Carolina either.

And me personally, I'd like to see the Falcons win every game by 4 TDs. I'd be just fine with that.

Who cares if the triple option would work in the NFL? Kansas shouldn't have had that much trouble game planning for GT because they beat them last year. Not only did they have game tape of their own players playing it, but they stopped them.

And the Kansas Jayhawks, who won the Orange Bowl 3 years ago, a FCS team? I am pretty certain they are still in Division I.

The Falcons are having a hard time offering that type of game too lately. Let's hope they can at least get back to that type of game tonight, if not a decisive win.

Exactly, who cares!!!! I love watching GA Tech and triple option. Not sure what it is about it, but it's fun to watch for me.
