Of course there is. You simply have teams tied for the same number. How else would you put it? Alphabetically higher doesn't make it numerically higher. Philly and Minn both had 50 sacks to tie for the number one spot. Does Minn get to count higher because it is alphabetically higher than Philly for first place and Philly get second? Huh

RE: Brian VanGorder has accepted the defensive coordinator job at Auburn University.
BVG wasn't a bad defensive coordinator but he wasn't one of the top defensive coordinators either. I think he realized that he had reached his ceiling running the Falcons defense and took what is a great opportunity at Auburn, and return to his days of coaching in the SEC. He also probably realized his job was in limbo, so he pounced on this offer without having to wait on the possibility of getting fired.

He'll definitely be more successful in college where the talent pool isn't as deep and he can get away with some of his vanilla blitzes and calls. I wish him the best.

Tampa bay is dead last (32) with 23
Tenn next to last (31) with 28
GB/Indy/Buffalo (30) with 29
Jax/Car (29) with 31
Cle/SD (28) with 32
Atlanta/Chi/NO/Seattle (27) with 33

Accounting for ties we are tied for 27th in sacks.

UH....LOL.....I don't know what to say to this kind of logic.

Wow.

Using your innovative logic and counting from the top, the Falcons were 10th in sacks.

You have never heard of teams tying in stats before? Wow. I don't know what to say to that.

Actually, using your method, Philly and Minnesota would be tied for 18th in sacks.

The Falcons are tied. They are tied for 19th in sacks. Not 27th.

Yes, you are learning. So the Falcons tying for four other teams for the fifth lowest total in sacks is somehow mystifying? HuhHuh
