RE: Brian VanGorder has accepted the defensive coordinator job at Auburn University.
This has to be the funniest thread I have ever read.

I literally created an account over here just to say this.

I wanted to /facepalm like 10 times.

You can never count from the top man when doing statistical ranks, because teams get tied.

Each statistical catagory (sacks, interceptions, Touchdowns, rush yards, WHATEVER) must be counted from the begenning, and up.

so?

its a pointless argument and he made good points. I am starting to expect no less from Peyton, but you surprised me just now.

Before you said they were 27th.

Now...is it true that they are 27th in the league in sacks or not?

I haven't changed any story buddy boy. I provided a link to my stats several pages ago. The Falcons tied for the fifth lowest sack total in the league. THAT is the same point I've been making. I don't care if you want to call it 19th, 10th or 27th. The total sack number does not change. Fifth LOWEST sack total (tied) in the NFL.

Read the top again man. Or you may have to punch it in again, but mine is showing defensive. Stop playing.

Actually we are tied for 19th out of 32. Rankings simply aren't compiled the way you are doing it.

And 19th isn't great, but it's not 27th either. Which was my only point, which was somehow contested.

Thank you. I thought I was back on TATF with out of control mods in this thread. No one can change the fact we had the fifth lowest sack total in the NFL or BACK TO THE POINT of the thread: BVG is gone and Falcon nation should be celebrating.

You made up 19th and stuck with it. Good for you. I showed where this guy's 27th is and you're in denial...as always these days.

Look, I have no idea why ESPN labeled the stats as "Opponent Defensive Stats", but I assure you that 26 is the number of sacks the Falcons allowed, not the number they got on defense.
