Here's what I want you to do for me Keith. Continue to count from the bottom, all the way to the top, just like before. Then tell me what Philly and Minny were tied for.

Are there 26 teams in the NFL that had more sacks than the Atlanta Falcons.

Yes or no.

Tampa bay is dead last (32) with 23
Tenn next to last (31) with 28
GB/Indy/Buffalo (30) with 29
Jax/Car (29) with 31
Cle/SD (28) with 32
Atlanta/Chi/NO/Seattle (27) with 33

Accounting for ties we are tied for 27th in sacks.

LOL, you're doing it wrong dude, I promise you.

Tampa Bay is last in sacks at the 24th spot. There aren't 32 spots in this stat, only 24. Atlanta is tied at 19th.

That said, Atlanta is still tied for 5th worst in sacks and in the bottom 20% of teams in sacks. Being 19 out of 24 is just as bad as 27 out of 32, so either way you slice it, we sucked at getting sacks this year and in a round-about way, you were correct when pointing it out.

No, they are not. They are tied for 27th. They have the fifth lowest sack total in a 32 team league. I can't believe I'm seriously wasting my time having to explain this. Fifth lowest sack total (tied) is 27th in a 32 team league. Good grief! Rolleyes

What? Only 24 teams got their sacks calculated this year?

This. They had the fifth lowest sack total in a thirty two team league. I don't care how people want to miscount things. That is the fact. Fifth LOWEST sack total (tied) in a thirty team league. There's no defending that FACT.

If this forum had a HOF I would move this thread into it right now.

In fact, I think I am going to create a HOF specifically to put this thread in.

Answer this question. Did 26 teams have more sacks than the Falcons this year?
