Well he was exactly tied with Matt until a few days ago. Now he is running a game behind.

edit - my bad, forgot about Ryan's injury. Flacco is one game behind in wins, but he has 3 more losses.

The soonest he could reach 30 wins - win next 4 games = 2.8125 years (45 starts)

not bad ether.

He sure didn't seem even around the same level as Ryan on the field. That was the only game I have really watched him in. He didn't even seem to be close to Ryan.

ok so i was thinking about something, who on this list other than peyton and flacco, was the starting qb for his team from game one his rookie season? looks like both the dream boys from 08 will break mannings record, as have several others.

if i knew where you got these stats from, i'd just go look for myself, but then that wouldn't make for interesting MB talk would it, LOL

Chew on THAT, Petunia!

Well I don't know where Tandy gets her stats, but you can get just about any information you want at pro football reference - http://www.pro-football-reference.com/

I don't think there is any QB since the merger who started from day 1 and got the 30 wins faster than Ryan - if he wins the next 3.

Marino and Stabler both got 30 wins in their first 38 starts, but Stabler sat for a couple of years prior and Marino sat the first 7 games of the season.

Mannings first year was a 3-13 disaster. Man did he hit the fast track after that.

Yeah, they are. Only 2 other QBs in NFL history have started 18-1 at home in their career. Danny White - who went 19-1 before losing another game at home and Daryle Lamonica, who went 24-1 before losing another game at home.

So, if we win against Green Bay and Carolina at home - Ryan goes ahead of Danny White for the record with 20-1 at home, but he would have to win the next 7 games at home to beat Lamonica's record.

I've watched a few of his games. My wife roots for the Eagles and the Ravens, God bless her diseased heart. Tongue

Trust me, that was not his best showing. Although, I thought he scrambled very well and still could make some things happen. Can't say it's that he's that bad, as much as we made him look worse than he is last Thursday.
