His 5th season - game 6 = 4.375 years The soonest Ryan could do it is 2.75 years (42 starts) - If we won the next 3 games. Then Brady kept on winning the next 7 games, which earned him a Super Bowl trophy, and went right ahead and won his first 6 games the next year. I could live with a similiar resulte from Ryan. |

It took Marino until week 13 of his 3rd season, but he only started the last 9 games of his first season. He got win 30 in game number 38.

Marino is not an active QB. I'm sure if we went back through all the QBs who have past - we'd find some who got it even sooner. This was just a comparison of active starting QBs - so none of the previous QBs are included. For instance - Lamonica got his in 33 games. Also - a lot of these guys didn't start all the games. That's why there is both a time in the NFL to get to that point and a number of games. I've been looking back, but haven't found one yet under 3 years. If Ryan manages to get this in this year - I'm going to keep looking. ![]()

If that is the case - then only one other NFL QB in history has been 18-1 at home - and that is Danny White - who got to 19-1 and then lost. So, if Ryan wins 2 more at home - he would have more home wins since starting than any other QB in history? ![]()

I'm not sure what you are referencing, but if somebody is comparing Ryan's record at home to Lemonica's record at home at the start of his career, I think that is a bad comparison. If you are going to count AFL league play, might as well throw in the CFL too. |

wow Ma'am, has anyone told you lately how absolutely awesome you are??? if not, i'm tellin ya NOW! thanks for the information. so Our very own MattyIce could tie Brady at 2nd among current active QB's behind only BR. I was thinking more along the lines of how many games started, I do love how you've broken it down in years as well though.
again, thank you ma'am, that is awesome.....
Chew on THAT, Petunia!
