Yeah - but my husband says it's my fault. In preseason of '08 - I was joking with my granddaughter - said - I don't want to see anyone get hurt - 'cept maybe Tom Brady - nothing permanent - just enough to keep him out for the year.

Sure you ment no ill will but if you were to happen to be thinking of someone oh say Brees in a like wise manner that would totally be understandable too.

Over the past 3 years Bush has developed his power as a RB.
It sucks for him and the aints, that he broke his leg.
The task at hand for the aints is to find a positive from this situation.

For us we turn to Snelling (sweet)

The question is this.
Who replaces Bush and how will he be used ?

Well that's the thing.... Bush is a unique player and fits the Saints system very well... he's not going to be easy to replace for them.

They'll probably have to use a combination of RBs/WRs depending on how he would have been used in the play.

GEAUX Falcons!!!!

Saints average more points with him out, because they stop giving the ball to an ineffective scat back. I saw the stat on twitter this morning, but don't want to check it now with the viruses. They average something like 25-27 points with Bush, and 31-33 points without him.

We know that the aints is one helluva pass happy team, so with Bush out,
they are likely to become a Pass Drunk team.

What I noticed last night is the 49ers in the early on gave the aints recievers too much
cushion.

With that said comes my next question.
Lets say our DB's blanket the aints WR's from the Git-Go,

Will this leave us exposed on the rushing game?

That's an interesting stat, and it definitely shows that the Saints have some serious depth.

I don't think it reflects poory on Bush though or shows him to have a detriment effect on the offense. It can be just a reflection on which games he is missing.

For example, last year he missed the Rams and the Bucs, two teams that combined for a 4 - 28 record.

They are a good running team. Pierre Thomas is a very good running back.

I think the key for the Falcons in this game is getting an early lead and really pounding the running game. I think the Saints will be vulnerable to that after coming off a west coast MNF game.

I can see it now...

"The Falcons are winning this game...Breed needs to really step up his game with Bush being injured...if Bush were in..."

Nobody likes to see someone injured.
Tandy, never talk like that about us please Wink
