Bucs lose two players for rest of the year
Buccaneers lose two key players
2 hours ago by FOXSports
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers not only lost to the host Baltimore Ravens, but they wound up losing two key players for the rest of the season.

Head coach Raheem Morris said Monday that starting SS Cody Grimm (broken leg) and starting RG Davin Joseph (broken foot) will go on injured reserve.

Third-year G Jeremy Zuttah, who replaced Joseph after he got hurt, will take over in the lineup going forward.

Fourth-year S Sabby Piscitelli, who started 20 games over his second and third seasons of play, is the favorite to replace Grimm. However, third-year S Corey Lynch could also get a shot to fill in for Grimm.

The triumphant return of Sabby! This boasts well for our pass game. And our run game. Good ol' Sabby.

Piscitelli is a "Falcon Killa". I'd rather have seen Grimm. Joseph is a big loss for them.

Piscitelli a Falcon Killa? In what alternate universe?

In almost every game we play against them, Piscitelli gets run over again and again and again.

i don't see this as really much of a dropoff for Tampa - those guys and their replacements will be about the same - meaning - "average as grits". Smile

Finnegan looks like Pauly D from Jersey Shore.

Sabby is good in pass coverage, he is just a very poor tackler for a safety. Which is why he doesn't start.

Yeah, Sabby always seems to make a play against the Falcons...

First, I hate to see any player on any team go down with a season-ending injury. And, I'm just superstitious enough to worry about any bad karma that comes from celebrating other team's injuries. That said, I'm hoping the commish comes down hard on Aquib Talib for getting in the ref's face. Especially considering Raheem backed him up with a "the ref started it." Hope Goddell sits his a** down.
