have to open a roster spot so who goes? is it a DT, walker maybe? do we send Bruggeman to the PS? i'm curious to see who everyone thinks is going to be gone, or has the cut already been made and i just don't know it cause i've been playing on the new message board since i got home from work and not checking the news? LMAO

ok, with what i've seen from Norwood the last few weeks, i think it's Antone Smith.

Chew on THAT, Petunia!

I think itll be the 4th RB too, Antone Smith.

Frankly, I have no clue why he even made the roster. I was not impressed with him in the slightest. I think Dimitri Nance has much more upside and fit our scheme better.
Im really looking forward to Babs coming back. I think him and Peria Jerry make the perfect duo on the inside.

If Hawley's hip problem is worst than we think, he could go on injure reserve. I would imagine it is Bruggerman if not. I can't imagine the Falcons keeping 3 centers.

I've been wrong before when it comes to who they'll keep or cut, but i definitley think it's one of these two. I'm with you RnB, i was more impressed with Nance as well. I think Smith made it simply because he's been on the team since part of last year.

I agree. I never saw this blinding speed from Smith that everyone over on AFMB raved about.

We barely used the 2nd and 3rd RB on Sunday, proven play-makers, who cares about Smith in the 4th RB slot.

something else to think about as well. Jenkins should be back either this week or next week if the "4 to 6 weeks" statement was accurate. I'm guessing Smith AND Bruggeman both will be gone by the game with the taints

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons today have waived center Rob Bruggeman.

Bruggeman, 6-foot-4, 286 pounds, spent part of the 2009 season on the Falcons practice squad after being signed as a free agent on Sept. 7, 2009. He was originally signed as a rookie free agent by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following the 2009 NFL Draft.

Bruggeman was waived to make room on the roster for defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux, who served a one-game suspension. According to NFL rules, players serving suspensions don’t count against the NFL-mandated 53-man active roster.

During his suspension, Babineaux was allowed to attend team and position meetings, as well as film study.

no big loss there with Hawley sitting behind McClure.

Although, if he could play G very well, it may have been more sensible to cut Antoine Smith since he is the 4th RB, and we couldn't even use our 2nd and 3rd properly this past Sunday.
