I've been getting disgusted when I hear people talking about Vick having "better tools" with him in Philly. But to hear Vick himself point the finger at anyone but himself for having more success now is outrageous.

When I first saw Vick during week one against Green Bay, the difference between his last years here was palpable. It was the Vick we saw in year two when he won in Green Bay in the playoffs, and only occasionally thereafter . . . and NEVER in the last two years, when he did not come from behind ONCE.

TOOLS? Are you freaking kidding me? The difference is that he isn't getting stoned all the time now. The difference is that he's not last to get to practice and the first to leave. The difference is that he does not have the canine distractions.

I'm sorry . . . I hate to curse, and I hate to spoil a nice comeback. I want to applaud Vick for straightening out. But FUCK YOU, Mike Vick, for EVER saying anything but "I'm sorry, Atlanta, you gave me every chance and I betrayed you. I owed you my best and I gave nothing."

And the same goes for anyone who thinks we should have kept him. . . because he never would have changed here.

Let's face it. We are the enabler in a marriage with an addict. He was never going to change while he was here. Good for him for changing when he left.

The thing is, we've got a new man. And he's a winner from day one. And the one thing we know is that Matt Ryan is ALWAYS giving us his best shot.

Fuck you, Mike Vick. Not for what you did or did not do here, but for pointing your finger at us now, and saying it was our fault.
