No one should be content, but that doesn't mean you still shouldn't be pleased with the results thus far. I'm 100% sure the players aren't content with how they are playing thus far. It is a 16 game season and then playoffs if you make it. No team with the goal of winning a Super Bowl should be content until they accomplish that task.

We aren't the team we're the fans. We don't prepare or watch film. We buy merchandise and eat snacks while the game is on.

I am not content in any way although I will admit that the defense has been more entertaining than I had hoped. The offense has had some good stretches, but is mostly kinda vanilla and sometimes a bit boring. The special teams have been exciting, but mostly in a bad way, but give Bryant his due.

While we need improvement and better consistency, it is a long season and I don't see any areas where we don't have the required talent to keep getting the job done. It will take a lot of effort and improvement to get the spot we want in the post-season tournament, but that is OK. Ultimately it is how you play at the end of the season and against superior teams that counts and I think we can hang with anyone.

Winning ugly is still winning and we can be happy that the team has shown resiliency and toughness which are two important characteristics of serious contenders. I am content that the franchise is on track for greatness, but there are still substantial mountains to climb.

We're a young team - getting better. The more they play together and mature as a defense and offense - the better they will be. I still think we're a good hefty left tackle, a TE for the future and another clutch WR away from being elite.

I couldn't agree more with this part and think it's absolutely right on.

Might be time to finally gnab a legit target opposite of Roddy. If we had that... we would be unstoppable right now, IMO.

Harry isnt cutting at that spot and Jenk has always somewhat underachieved. If we had a Demaryius Thomas (not saying I prefered him to Spoon) or targeted a big young guy like that, we'ed be right where we need to be.
