It's way too early to write off Harry Douglas.

Tru dat. 2 hours a day on the JUGS machine with Gonzo. Carry a ball all day every day. Shovel pass, hook and lateral, end around, whatever it takes to get it in his hands.

Talk about an overreaction....

Harry's gonna be just fine. I've learned not to get all worked up about guys dropping passes and not living up to their potential after the whole Roddy White crisis...

Personally, I think the drops are just in his head right now. Once he gets that worked out, he will be the guy that we all hoped he will be.

EDIT: BTW, I think a way to boost Harry's morale would be to give him some reverses or something. Just a little spark to get him going again(domino effect). Hell, let him do some punt returns.

[Image: 2menybt.jpg] Invest in the trenches with high draft picks and we will see both sides of the ball vastly improve.

We need to utilize Douglas the same way the Eagles utilize Jackson. I know the skill sets are completely different for the two of them, but Douglas has comparable speed.

You know I'm trying to give HD the benefit of the doubt and forget we could have drafted D Jackson with that pick and then you have to go bringing Jackson up in an HD thread Tongue

But seriously, I like HD a lot. He seems like a great person, good interview, I just hope that he can get back some of his pre ACL mojo. Because let's face it, he's having a disappointing season.

I hope the HD drop off is related to the downtime from the knee injury. Out of synch? Thinking too much rather than just reacting? He does not seem to have the same burst, but he is one year removed from the injury.

He won't get many opportunities if he keeps dropping balls. Ryan clearly was not happy with him the last game.

Im glad Ryan isnt a Bitch Ass QB whos afraid to tell his WR's to step there game up.
Im guessing he might have said something to smitty or MM about it.

Douglas is agile, but doesn't have straight line speed like Jackson does. He's more like Welker really.

It's not really fair to compare him to Welker, even though TD, myself and many others have. Welker had a late season ACL tear and was back by the first game. HD needs to step up. HD had all last season, off-season and more than half this one to get in game shape. He can't play afraid, and I think that might be his problem.
