If we clinch HFA early, then we definitely need to rest our starters. The only thing that matters then is winning the superbowl. Even then, that is not *quite* the same as losing on purpose ... we should try our best to win without the starters.

Nope, I see the reasoning behind those thoughts but I think you play EVERY game to win no matter what.

No we do not need the starter in last game of the year but let them play a qt.and rest all who have nagging injuries.

I would play them....I might start or rotate some of the younger defense a bit more. I would at least have the starters play a partial game....

I always hated that sitting your starters crap.....I get it....but I wouldn't unless it was several games....for a game against the panthers on OUR TURF....no way...we have to crush them and have everyone going into that dome...know it is OUR HOUSE!....
