Any word yet on if Weatherspoon will start/play against Bucs?

Have any of you guys heard anything on Spoon's status yet? Has he practiced this week or last? I know last week was bye week - not sure if there were any practices or not.

We won't know until the injury reports are released - you know how tight lipped they are about injuries.

I think he's gonna play, though.

hope so Tandy.....would be nice if our beatwriter was the least bit curious about this...if he's been in practice that would be a good indication. I would think a beatwriter with access to practice field would provide some insight there. oh well.

I'll go ahead and personally guarantee you that he is going to be listed as "questionable" and you won't really have any idea of he is playing or not until Sunday.

Unless he doesn't practice Wednesday and Thursday......then you can be pretty certain he isn't going to be active.

my gut feeling is he will be out there starting on Sunday. No ligament damage and he has had basically 3 weeks of rehab and no practicing....that is like 24 days of rest and rehab for that knee.....surely 'Spoon is gonna be ready.

I have no inside info. but that is my guess.

I think that he'll be playing on Sunday.

I think he would have been playing against the Bengals but the gameplan didn't dictate that we needed a LB with the skillset of Weatherspoon badly enough to risk playing him just before the bye week.

Why I think that? Look how little the Bengals targeted Benson and Gresham, which is where Weatherspoon would have made the most impact.
