Good point. I think we should amend our drafting rules. Do not take players from Arkansas and do not take cornerbacks named Chris Big Grin

Honestly i felt Cromartie benefited a lot by having Revis opposite of him. Him being here I don't think he'll have the "success" if you wanna call it that, in our Defense.

If cromartie comes at a fair price, sure by all means bring him in, but if he's wanting top dollar [which most FA's want], no deal.

Dunta's 1st year in this Defense was very much the definition of a disappointment, but i feel another full off season in the Defense and with other additions he'll turn into a better corner for us.

TL;DR
Give Dunta another season; no Cromartie unless for a fair signing.

I really think Falcons will "kick the tires" on Champ Bailey if the price is right. If Champ will do a 3-4 year deal where the guarantee just covers 2.5-3.0 years, I think the Falcons would explore signing him - he's just scary because of his age (32) and I think he will be 33 this year. That is awfully long-in-the-tooth for a corner.

Champ Bailey still has plenty left in the tank from the looks of it.

Champ doesn't have the top end speed he used to have, but that speed is simply what put him into the elite category. Now he's just extremely good.

Who did he have next to him in San Diego when he was beasting then? Quentin Jammer, basically a nobody. He played great at the beginning of the year when Revis was out too

It was a guestimate. Figured he had expanded the last year or two.
