Never mind that we have giant canyons running through the state using up valuable real estate. Never mind that if you hike in the desert you're almost certain to encounter something that can kill you. We also don't do daylight savings time, mostly because the last thing any Arizonan wants is a longer summer day. That's fine for the sissies, but it means I now have to wait another hour for football to start.
