Hopefully our line can continue to play well pass blocking wise. im glad you have confidence. im with peyton i see room for concern. i really think we should have brought in boldin if we were serious about contending for a ring. i dont think our offense is going to get it done when we need it. i hope im wrong. We still moved the ball on the best defense in the NFL and were in a position to win. I'm not worried about our offense as long as health isn't a concern and Sam Baker isn't getting a penalty every other down. the passing game was not good vs pitt. what game were you watching? i saw roddy and that was it. everyone else was SHUT DOWN. we need some help!!!! |

Actually, you can. The Saints and Colts both did just that last year. But I get what you mean. |

RE: After watching last night's Bears/Packers game...
A 50/50 balance is, theoretically, a good offensive strategy, but a team has to be ready to shift into pass mode or into run mode at will.
So far this season, I have seen glimpses of the Falcons possessing the ability to shift gears as needed. Get Jenkins back and Douglas in the slot and our O should be able to change it up on demand. We've already seen our backs getting receptions. Now just work in those screens... |

RE: After watching last night's Bears/Packers game...
After watching last night Bears game I'm bringing this back up. Teams that rely that heavily on the pass and refuse to adjust their game planning are just begging for trouble. Our team at least keeps running the ball and forcing the defense to respect the run.
