Also, as I knew I would, I was disgusted watching PTI's take on this yesterday. Kornheiser, rightfully so, said AP was clearly in the wrong. It's such a charged word that you better not use it unless you're damn sure it's slavery was his point, which I agree with. Wilbon on the other hand, just dismissed it and said we were free to ignore AP. Methinks if Peyton Manning had said this, Wilbon would be calling for his head on a silver platter.

I just don't understand why the players can't accept that there is an inherient amount of exploitation in what they do and that it is offset by income and fame.

I don't give a shit either way. There are starving and homeless people all over the world, and these greedy motherfuckers are complaining because the millions of dollars they get aren't enough. I'm all out of give a damns, and could honestly care less if there is football next year. They get paid way too much damn money as it is. I think if every single pro sports player took a pay cut to $100,000 for just ONE year, it would help the economy tremendously. However, they need their $100 million so they can spend $5 million on diamond infused shoes, or on a diamond purse, or something else completely fucking stupid and irrelevant. Fuck pro atheletes.

Taking a pay cut wouldn't help the economy. Taxing these morons at 75% would help the economy though. With the pay cut their money would go right into the teams who are just as greedy. A year without football only hurts the lower tier players and those who don't take care of their money. The competition for grocery bagging jobs will go up that's for sure.

I wish there was a way to reach every single fan of every single team. We the fans need to organize a fan "lockout". I remember last year, someone on AFMB was talking about the fans in the stadium turning their back on opening kick off to have a completely silent stadium. Just to show the players, GM's, and Owners that without the fans, the NFL doesn't exist. We give them revenue. Without us they are fucked
